Sanchez, George-February 2010

Day 2 of KSAT 12's story was successfully completed with the capture of this felon, who was stacked with felony charges; I might add. First visit, first hour on the case, Pearson and I decided to hit the mother's house. We rolled up slowly searching for an address after getting turned around and losing our bearings, happened upon a street where quite a few children were playing in the street. And to my surprise and happiness, Sanchez was working on a vehicle in his mom's driveway. I launched out of the vehicle and before I could make it he bolted in the house slamming the door but not locking it. A young female in the yard gave us permission to "go on in" and there he was. Convincing Sanchez with the Taser, he posed in the arrest position for us and downtown he went. Another one for the books! Thanks KSAT 12!

Elton, Selena-February 2010

Elton was captured by Investigators Leon McLendon, Darryl Pearson, and Hector Lozano. Her unlucky encounter with us happened in San Antonio, TX where we found her hiding in the bedroom of an overcrowded home. Hector, Darryl and I entered the house with the consent of an occupant. Weary of the dark interior, we walked the short corridor and began to interrogate an individual who was completely cooperative(apparently he already had a few unlucky encounters with the law). While Darryl continued to ask questions, I noticed the only closed door had a glow of light under it and a sock where the door knob should be. Curious, as always, I questioned who was in there and low-and-behold...it opened. There she was, ready to surrender. Although she started off pretty happy her run had finally ended, she ended up being pretty upset of the camera following us that day, courtesy of KSAT 12 news crew. Smile!!!
